Photo Booth Rental NYC – Connecting with Guests

Posted 2/12/15 in: New Jersey New York

One of the things I enjoy most about setting up our vintage photo booth is the opportunity to connect and socialize with various guests at an event.  At a recent event in New York, New York, I started chatting with a guest who had flown up from Mexico to attend his cousins Quinceañera, the celebration of a girl’s fifteenth birthday.  When he first entered our vintage photo booth, he had no idea how to operate the machine and ended up just sitting in the photo booth for about five minutes.  Although we had a slight language barrier, I eventually was able to communicate to him the simple operation of the photo booth, and he took it from there!  He ended up grabbing all his family members, aunts, uncles, grand parents, cousins, and taking individual photos throughout the evening.  He even convinced me to jump in with him!

It is certainly fun to meet with different people at each of the events we do in the New York and New Jersey area.  I try to encourage even the least photogenic people to jump in our vintage photo booth and give it a try at least once.  It’s even more enjoyable to watch people who are initially reluctant (or confused, like my friend pictured above), to warm up to the photo booth concept and embrace the fun they could have with it.  At the end of the night, I caught him showing off this photo to his family members.  Always satisfying to hear guests enjoying our vintage photo booth!
