On New Year’s Eve, I met Tom from the Fort Lee Arts and Film Commission based in Fort Lee, New Jersey.  As a guest at a wedding, he jumped into our vintage photo booth and loved it!  After the event, he asked for my card and invited me to participate at the Fort Lee Annual Arts and Film Commission.  Most people these days associate Fort Lee with the Bridge Gate scandal, yet many people do not know that Fort Lee represented Hollywood, before Hollywood even existed!  Lemoine Avenue in Fort Lee housed all the major film studios before they migrated out west.  Many of the earliest motion picture films were produced and filmed in Fort Lee, just a stones throw away from Manhattan.  Check out this cool website for the history of the motion picture industry in North Jersey – http://www.fortleefilm.org/.

We set-up our vintage photo booth as partners with the Fort Lee Arts and Film Commission, offering free photo booth pictures for families in the Fort Lee community.  It was an absolute hit!  People jumped in and out of our vintage photo booth all day, taking black and white photos, and re-experiencing the vintage photo booth experience!  The Arts Festival also included some talented emerging bands, live music, great food, and wonderful community! Enjoyed being part of this community event in North Jersey, and so glad to see so many people embracing the vintage photo booth experience!
