I think the title of this one should be “How Many Hipsters Can You Fit in a Photo booth?” Â By my count is at least nine full or partial faces represented. Â Including one dude who is completely upside down. Â Impressive! Â People often ask how many folks can fit inside – and I always say 8 or so – but I always know that with a little orchestration and grit we could probably fit ten or more. Â This group at a Connecticut wedding were clearly comfortable enough with eachother to pile into the photobooth rental – although I think things felt a little awkward once they all got out.

These guys at a Newport RI wedding really nailed it. Â If that isn’t their next album cover I don’t know what to say. Â I suppose it could work as their Christmas card. Â Either way if they’re not going to bring it to the public, I will. Â It’s always fun to get the wedding reception band in front of the camera. Â Here we have the brass section bringing the good time vibes to the photo booth. Â We try to get as many vendors in the photobooth as we can – they always write most random captions in the photo guest book.

That’s right folks – it’s time again for our annual Photo-strip Hall of Fame countdown!  2014 provided a fantastic batch of zany/beautiful/hilarious/memorable/touching photo booth images.  We’ve culled the photobooth event archives and assembled quite a collection.  Most of these images were came from photo booth rentals at weddings in Connecticut (CT) and Rhode Island (RI).  This year, in addition to images collected from our vintage-style photobooths, we have a few that were created inside Chloe, the VW Photobus.
So.  Without further ado…here is #10.  This gorgeous bride and groom chose to go with our damask print curtain and boy did they have their poses DOWN!  Clearly, in addition to their choreographed first dance routine – they had been practicing their photo booth poses.  Like a good three act play – their strip began with an intimidating threat,  followed by a shocking reveal, and wrapping up with a happy ending – just the way we like it.

At Photobooth Planet, we always find that people experience emotional bonding moments in our booths, whether at weddings, parties or events. In this music video, Jessie Ware takes her song “You & I (Forever)” and uses a vintage photobooth to illustrate friends, lovers, family, etc. bonding together while taking timeless photos. Technology changes, yet relationships will be forever. Photo booths bring both together – and prints the moments on photostrips to cherish for many years to come.

Check out this kid who took full advantage of our Classic Booth at a recent wedding.
Kids love photobooths and often are the ones who kick off the evening, flashing grins, grimaces, tongues, squints, props and crazy expressions. Soon, they start pulling the older generations into the booth, and then the adults take over – posing, cramming with friends, displaying facial contortions and laughing through the night. The inter-generational photos in the booth become treasures to keep for years to come. It doesn’t matter how old one is; all ages enjoy a good session in the photo booth!

Here at Photobooth Planet Vermont we are always committed to serving our local community. Throughout our past four years of operation we have volunteered our time and photo booths/buses to help out local organizations and causes in the Burlington area. Some of these include: Relay For Life, Jeudevine Falls Weddings, MOPS @ Essex Alliance Church, beCause Craft Show, Celebrate Recovery and Burlington Moms Blog.
This past weekend we were able to do it again by helping out one of our favorite organizations, Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity. CVOEO provides individuals and families with the basic needs of food, fuel and housing support in times of crisis, and also assists them in getting the necessary education, financial skills and assets to build a stable future.
We had a blast out on the Church Street Marketplace with our newest VW photo bus, Scarlet. People were able to come by both Saturday & Sunday to take “60’s Selfies” which were completely free with a suggested donation to CVOEO. The event was such a hit Scarlet even made it on two local TV stations, WCAX and ABC22. Maybe her new nickname should be Scarlet the famous photo bus? Check out some pictures below to see how much fun we had at the event!

Hello New Hampshire, Southern Maine and North Shore Massachusetts! Photobooth planet has arrived. After establishing successful photo booth rentals businesses throughout the rest of New England and helping to make unforgettable memories at hundreds of weddings and events, Photobooth planet has set up shop in the New Hampshire seacoast area and we’re ready to travel. Like our colleagues in Vermont and Connecticut, at Photobooth Planet New Hampshire, we will continue to offer the elegant-styled, hard sided vintage photo booths that our brand has come to be known and loved for. But, like our partners to the west, we too will offer a completely restored Volkswagon Photobooth Bus which is always a show-stopper. Say Hello to Scarlet!

Today we are happy to announce that we finally named our newly restored 1966 Volkswagen Bus. After a successful month long photo bus naming contest we would like to welcome Scarlet to our Photobooth Planet family. She is our second photo bus joining her sister Ruby.
Our favorite part about naming the bus is it gives her a personality and we realize that’s what people love so much about Ruby too. Thank you all near and far for participating in naming her, we couldn’t have done it without you. Also, a huge thank you to Stacey Hedman for letting us use her awesome photo.  Our lucky winner Shana, who was the first one to suggest the name, will get to enjoy some delicious pizza from American Flatbread.  Don’t forget Scarlet is also available for weddings and other events too!

Last, but certainly not least, we conclude the 2013 Photobooth Planet Photo-strip Hall of Fame with a few great shots of this lovely couple married last year. Â Truth be told we were slightly biased in our voting as this couple are the dynamic duo behind Nicole Gesmondi Photographer LLC. Â Nicole and Paul are among the best wedding photographer’s in New England. Â They are also good friends and clearly true pros in the photo booth.

We are down to the home stretch in this year’s 2013 Photobooth Planet Photo-strip Hall of Fame! Featured are a lovely couple sharing a few candid and intimate moments, warming  the cold of a Connecticut and Rhode Island winter in one of our vintage photo booth rentals at a wedding last January. While the rest of New England is hibernating, we still are open for business and have photo booth rentals available throughout the year.
