Recently, we partnered with the Women’s Rights Information Center in Englewood, NJ for a photo booth fundraising event at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (BergenPAC). The WRIC’s is “a place for women in transition to gain career, life and resource-building skills that can change the direction of their economic futures. A great organization!

We invited guests to take free photos from our photobooth rental and make donations to the WRIC afterward. Guests jumped into our photo booth rental throughout the evening as part of the Ladies Night Out event hosted by the Englewood, NJ Chamber of Commerce. It was a pleasure hanging out with the staff of the WRIC and we plan to bring our photo booth rental to their winter fundraiser later this year!

Here at Photobooth Planet Vermont we are always committed to serving our local community. Throughout our past four years of operation we have volunteered our time and photo booths/buses to help out local organizations and causes in the Burlington area. Some of these include: Relay For Life, Jeudevine Falls Weddings, MOPS @ Essex Alliance Church, beCause Craft Show, Celebrate Recovery and Burlington Moms Blog.
This past weekend we were able to do it again by helping out one of our favorite organizations, Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity. CVOEO provides individuals and families with the basic needs of food, fuel and housing support in times of crisis, and also assists them in getting the necessary education, financial skills and assets to build a stable future.
We had a blast out on the Church Street Marketplace with our newest VW photo bus, Scarlet. People were able to come by both Saturday & Sunday to take “60’s Selfies” which were completely free with a suggested donation to CVOEO. The event was such a hit Scarlet even made it on two local TV stations, WCAX and ABC22. Maybe her new nickname should be Scarlet the famous photo bus? Why a photo booth?
As an owner of a photo booth rental business, sometimes I get the question: “So why a photo booth.” I have come to understand what people are really asking when they say this. When photo booths first came on the scene it was a novelty to be able to take and print photos of yourself. Yet, in today’s world, people ask “why a photobooth” because, cameras, camera phones, and digital imaging is all around us. Most people carry hundreds or thousands of pictures of themselves around every day. Yet, most of these photos aren’t truly candid and even less if any are every printed.
This is where a photobooth again becomes a novelty. A photo booth captures candid pictures that preserve a real moment in time and instantly prints that memory out to literally, not just digitally, hold and enjoy for a lifetime. In a world where pictures take time to rework and even more time to print, there is nothing so rewarding as going to a wedding in NH, Maine or Massachusetts and giving a bride and groom an album of the real pictures of the real people that came to celebrate them at the very moment the celebration comes to a close. It’s instant gratification, but it also gets to be enjoyed for a lifetime. So, why a photobooth, it’s real pictures, of real people making real memories that you can really touch and enjoy for a lifetime. Who wouldn’t love that?

After establishing successful photo booth rentals businesses throughout the rest of New England and helping to make unforgettable memories at hundreds of weddings and events, Photobooth planet has set up shop in the New Hampshire seacoast area and we’re ready to travel. Like our colleagues in Vermont and Connecticut, at Photobooth Planet New Hampshire, we will continue to offer the elegant-styled, hard sided vintage photo booths that our brand has come to be known and loved for. But, like our partners to the west, we too will offer a completely restored Volkswagon Photobooth Bus which is always a show-stopper. I am extremely happy with the services I received from Tony at Photobooth Planet for my wedding in June. Tony was very responsive in the weeks leading up to the event and was very flexible (I changed the start and end time of my rental close to the day of my actual wedding!). Tony was also the one to operate the booth on the day of my wedding. He was extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. The booth itself looks classy and is not very obtrusive. Now for the photos! The picture quality was excellent. The booth prints out two strips of 3 pictures each – one for the guests to take home and one for a keepsake book that the couple takes home. Tony helped arrange the keepsake book and made sure to have everyone sign it or write us a cute message. My husband and I actually read all of the messages the night of our wedding – really cute and funny! All of our guests loved the photobooth and kept coming up to us and telling us what a great idea it was. It really was a hit! If you are thinking of getting a photo booth for your event, I would highly reccomend using Tony and Photobooth Planet!
Say Hello to Scarlet!

Today we are happy to announce that we finally named our newly restored 1966 Volkswagen Bus. After a successful month long photo bus naming contest we would like to welcome Scarlet to our Photobooth Planet family. She is our second photo bus joining her sister Ruby.
Our favorite part about naming the bus is it gives her a personality and we realize that’s what people love so much about Ruby too. Thank you all near and far for participating in naming her, we couldn’t have done it without you. Also, a huge thank you to Stacey Hedman for letting us use her awesome photo. Our lucky winner Shana, who was the first one to suggest the name, will get to enjoy some delicious pizza from American Flatbread. Don’t forget Scarlet is also available for weddings and other events too!

Last, but certainly not least, we conclude the 2013 Photobooth Planet Photo-strip Hall of Fame with a few great shots of this lovely couple married last year. Truth be told we were slightly biased in our voting as this couple are the dynamic duo behind Nicole Gesmondi Photographer LLC. Nicole and Paul are among the best wedding photographer’s in New England. They are also good friends and clearly true pros in the photo booth.

New Vermont VW PhotoBus

Vermont has a new VW PhotoBus! She’s a beautifully restored 1966 Volkswagen Bus that is making a splash around Vermont. She’s the coolest things on the roads of the Green Mountain State.
The picture here is from a gorgeous wedding at the 1824 House in Waitsfield, VT, and the photo was taken by Stacey Hedman. The guests had fun all night long climbing in the back of this groovy machine, taking photo after photo with the custom photobooth. Everyone loves closing the curtain and getting wild and free with smile after smile with their friends and family.
New York Restoration Project and New Leaf Restaurant

Photobooth Planet joined up with the team at New Leaf Restaurant last weekend for a beautiful wedding in Fort Tryon Park. Neglected in the 1980s and 1990s, the New York Restoration Project (NYRP) targeted Fort Tryon Park, cleaning up and restoring several of the gardens, removing debris, and repairing walking paths. New Leaf Restaurant is a restored, 1930s stone building, home to a world-class bar and restaurant, with all net proceeds supporting NYRP’s mission to continue restoring green spaces throughout NYC.
