Opened in 1907, the Plaza originally served as a residence for wealthy New Yorkers – single rooms started at $2.50 per night! Designated a New York City Landmark in 1969, The Plaza is the only New York City hotel to be designated a National Historic Landmark. Walking through the hotel, one will find evidence of countless historic figures who once stayed as guests in this beautiful NYC hotel. A worthwhile visit for sure!
